The picture is actually of me in 1987, doing exactly as the game describes. Luckily, there was also a turtle cake waiting for the guests as the cake I made did not turn out well!

Set Up:
Set a table up in the front of the room. Have all the equipment and ingredients placed on the table.

How to Play:
At the very beginning of the party, give the bride an apron to wear. Tell her she is making the dessert for the guests at her party. She needs to make a simple white cake, without using a recipe. Have her work at the table with the ingredients. The crowd may not help her. When the batter is done, pour it in the cake pan and ask her what temperature to cook it on and for what length of time. Then put the cake in the oven while the rest of the party continues.

When the timer goes off, remove from oven and serve to guest. It is best to also have a “back up” dessert available, just in case…
