Mingle Mingle Mingle – Party Games

Summary:A Get to Know You game where the players find like minded people

Ages: from 12 and up

Recommended Number of Players:
Between 5 and 25

Equipment:
Ten pieces of wrapped candy per player

Set Up:
No prior set-up required

How to Play:
Everyone is given ten small candies. The host calls out a general catagory and the group has to mingle around to find others that have the same answer. For instance, the host calls out “Favorite Pizza Topping.” Each player then begins to repeat the name of their favorite pizza topping while listening for others to be saying the same thing.

The players can walk around the area as much as necessary to find like minded players. When one player finds another player who likes the same topping, they “lump together” by locking arms and looking for more players with the same taste. After about thirty seconds, the host then yells “STOP” and asks each group to call out their answer.

It’s okay if one player doesn’t have anyone else who has the same answer. But if two groups call out the same answer, each member of that group looses a piece of candy. The candy is given back to the host.

Some other examples of mingles are your favorite dessert; the type of toothpaste you use; if you could attend only one concert for the rest of your life, who would you see; your least favorite chore growing up as a kid; if you could be the very best at something, what would it be?

Winner:
Play until the host has 5 pieces of candy. Everyone gets to keep the candy they didn’t lose as a prize.
